How we protect learners, most of whom are minors.

Our position

Most VirtualX users are school learners under 18. Where a safety decision and a commercial decision conflict, safety decides.

No learner-to-learner contact

The platform has no messaging, no comments, no forums and no profiles visible to other learners. There is no route through our product for one learner to contact another.

Minimal data

We collect only what is needed to operate an account and deliver access. We do not build advertising profiles of learners.

AI features

Study help is grounded in specific lesson material and cites its source. It is not a companion, it does not hold a persistent profile of a learner, and it is not used to make decisions about a learner.

Reporting a concern

Safeguarding concerns can be raised at any time using the governance contact route. They are handled separately from sales and support.
